Jamiyah @ West Coast

‘Jamiyah @ West Coast’ was officially launched by The Honourable Mr. S. Iswaran, Minister of Trade and Industry (Industry) on the 9th of September 2017. This is a re-launch after the centre was opened in 2003, where it served as a student service centre.

To keep up to the ever changing needs of the community, the centre had to broaden its focus from being student centric to offering a broader range of value added programs to the community at large regardless of age, ethnic and cultural differences.

Hence, with the renaming of the precinct to ‘Jamiyah @ West Coast’ (JWC), we aim to firstly decentralize some of Jamiyah Singapore’s services, and secondly, to bring the community together through programs, workshops and events, to do our part in this multifaceted society in building a caring community, and securing strong social cohesion.
